The company's specially developed computer software resolve problems concerning design, selection of components; climate conditions etc. and provides a composite solution in one process. A plan quickly becomes the complete answer with ultimate benefit for the customer.
Depending on ambient conditions and locations, air-cooled, oil-cooled, explosion proof, automatic or manually controlled are generally used in CP systems.
The transformers rectifiers are normally designed for safe and long term operations in normal environmental conditions. The transformer rectifier components are mounted on a self - supporting mounting frame which is fixed inside the main enclosure. The assembly of power devices (transformer rectifier) is arranged on a base plate. The front part is used for the mounting of all control and metering devices.
The transformer rectifiers are designed to meet the Standards of the International Electro Technical Commission (IEC), but can also be designed to meet the requirements of other Standards.
All transformer rectifiers can be used in indoor and outdoor locations and are capable of supplying continuous full rated output at an ambient temperature from - 20ºC to +45ºC.
A transformer rectifier mainly comprises a main transformer, an auto-transformer (Variac) or thyristor modules (SCR), a stack of selenium rectifiers (silicon rectifiers can also be provided) and other auxiliaries/accessories such as protection devices, meters, switches, fuses, indicating lamps, enclosure, etc.
The enclosure can be made of sheet steel, stainless steel, aluminum or non metallic such as glass- fiber reinforced polyester with weather proof protection up to IP 65.All enclosures are provided with a lockable front door (single lock for small enclosures and double lock for larger enclosures). Plinth mounted enclosures can be provided with profile steel support, plastic foundation or can be supported on concrete foundation. Pole and wall mounting type enclosures are also provided with supporting devices as required.
Cable terminal blocks are located at a suitable place to facilitate convenient termination and entry of cables. The output terminals are sized according to cross- sections of cable and output current of rectifier.
The cable entries are normally made on the bottom of the enclosures which are provided with suitable cable glands.
